Expressions: A New Worship Experience
Expressions is a series of new worship services composed and conducted by Pastor Hoag and Dan Bay. The orchestrated music and lighting are programmed and sequenced through state-of-the-art keyboards and accompany live guitars, bass, and vocals, giving a kaleidoscope of color and sound and offering the worshiper elements of joy, depth, and wonder in a traditional setting. This is the perfect service for those who are looking for something completely different or who might be suffering from "megachurch burnout". There is truly nothing else like it!
The Lord’s Table—A Glad Celebration of the Eucharist
This hearty service is a wonderful celebration of our heavenly baptismal inheritance and of Jesus Christ’s presence as his story is told in Scripture and song, and as he gives us his body and blood in the form of bread and wine to eat and drink in the Sacrament of The Eucharist. These means are the gifts of God that strengthen our unity with Him and with one another through our Lord Jesus.
Glorious Day—A Service of Rejoicing
Energetic and driving describes this worship service. God makes our daily labors holy and uses them to bless the world. We give God thanks and praise for who He is, what He has done, and who He has created us to be.
Light and Shadows—A Sunset Devotional
This hauntingly beautiful service is a modern version of an ancient liturgy that was used by the early church each day at sunset, that mysterious transition time between light and darkness. It was not only recognized that dark nights of the soul are common in the human experience, but also that God enlightens the human family with His grace shown in Jesus Christ. The themes of illumination and shadow are interwoven throughout like a golden thread in a tapestry.
Peaceful Night—Prayer at the Close of the Day
This service of soaring melodies and restful contemplation is an adaptation of an ancient liturgy that was sung and spoken before the worshipers retired for the night. The created atmosphere of peace and serenity is intended to convey the peace we have with God through Jesus Christ and the confidence we have in God’s watchful eye. We go to our lodgings in rest and quietness.
