Girl Scout Sunday!!!

Sunday March 12th, at both the 9:00 and 10:30 Services, we are offering All Registered Girl Scouts to come to the church and celebrate GIRL SCOUT SUNDAY!!! Scouts attending either of the services are encouraged to wear their sash/vest. They will be acknowledged at the service, and can take a photo with Pastor Douglas Hoag. Any questions please contact Jennifer at TLCSecretary508@gmail.com

Girl Scouts Celebrate Faith!

Faith is at the heart of Girl Scouting, and it’s been integral to the Girl Scout tradition since its founding in 1912. As part of the Girl Scout Promise, Girl Scouts have pledged to “serve God” and to “help people at all times.” Today we lift up these shared values for Girl Scout Sunday, a longstanding tradition where girls explore the powerful connections between their faith and Girl Scouting. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Through Girl Scouts, girls have endless opportunities to discover and nurture their interests, connect with others, and take action to better the world around them, all while strengthening their connection to their faith. When girls are deeply rooted in their faith, they grow into compassionate leaders who inspire positive change in their communities. Girl Scouts across the world are finding ways to share their love and compassion to make the world a better place. We are grateful to everyone for supporting Girl Scouts and fostering a place where girls can grow in leadership and faith together
